Why do men seem to dominate the fashion industry?
How comes men are so good at designing clothes and accesories for an industry which generally revolves around women and womens fashion.Most of the top fashion designers are male : Karl Lagerfeld, Giorgio Armani, Christian Louboutin...etc
It almost makes it rare for a woman to break into the industry. The top-most job a woman seems to be able to do in the industry is a catwalk model.
Well I found out that even straight male designers also do well... guiseppe zanotti, ozwald boateng..etc

I am fifty one and have visited a few "over 50" sites for womens fashion. I would not be seen dead in some of the footwear. At 51 I like wearing workmen style boots, converse trainers, boots with kitten heels, dm's and womens brogues (oxfords). Unfortunately I have to wear men's shoes in most of the styles and it take ages for me to find the others on the internet. So I am a boy, but I fell like I am meant to be a girl. I look very girly and I feel much better if I am dressed like a girl. I want to and would feel really great and comfortable in womens' clothes, shoes, makeup, etc. The thing is, I feel like I am a girl. I do not have a manly body at all. I am very thin and feminine looking and I am also just a teenager. I just feel like I am all around happier when Im a girl. For women, all you have to do is maintain an average weight, wear nice clothing, and wear some make up. Reason why I am planning this so early is because last year, I didn't have my outfit until the day before at 8:30, literally. my dads 57yrs of age and been married to my mum for about 30yrs now. so he recently started using email, which led to his increase in knowledge for the internet, and now he uses the internet for mainly all work purposes.the other day i was going thru his laptop and was curious to see how much he had learned and browsed on the internet and i found that he was using a trade site (similar to ebay) to look at properties (for his work n stuff), but then the other pages that he visited in that site was female escorts etc and sexual therapists! this was 3 weeks ago so it seems he didnt bother to visit those pages recently as he uses his laptop everyday. at first i felt gross but i know in my mind my dad was most probably satisfying his mere curiosity.
recently i noticed also he visited womens fashion websites, and since his knowledge of the internet is very poor he visited these sites just to check the swimsuit section..for his viewing pleasure.

I'm an older guy, not creepy, I follow mens' fashion and dress according to what I can wear. I'm not caught up in it tho' I mean sometimes I'll go the whole day in PJs and socks and flip-flops. Is it strange for a man to have a feminine side?
Hi all, I need honest answers.My man is full of great qualities, that is why I was so attracted to him in the first place. The problem is that their is a side of him that scares me quite a lot because it is unusual for me. Let me explain, instead of picking up mens sunglasses he picked up women sunglasses, he thinks they are nicer, I think he looks terrible, and I get embarrassed when he wears them because they are obviously for girls (they are not like pink with roses or super obvioulsy female but the shape is kinda girly and a decoration in the side is girly as well), he doesnt have a big budget and maybe what happens is that their are many really stylized male sunglasses but too expensive for him and in the range of less than 10 dlls he doesnt find anything stylized that suits his taste. Then, one time he expressed how much he would love to get a pink shirt with flowers (it was in the mens department at least) and then he wanted to buy himself a white belt that was in the female department as well, it was more like a unisex type belt, but still, why in the womens department? Then he likes the HGTV channel, but he told me what he likes is the show in which houses are sold and bought and the show in which a guy uses his carpenter skills to repair stuff, so sounds male enough for me. Then he wants to buy a subscription for a magazine for male fashion and he is like super pro gay rights, which is not bad if I find out open minded and nice of him to respect others right to choose their sexual orientation.
So after all this you may realize why I am scared of this feminine side of his, I'm scared of suddenly he coming out of the closet or something, but other than that he seems completely heterosexual, he has told me many times he has no homosexual tendencies, he loves football, he hangs out with straight guys, he has had a couple of gay friends but doesn't hang out with them.
He is Mexican like me and in general Ive realized that Mexican guys tend to put lots of attention in their looks, kinda like an Italian dude would, well, not that much, but still somehow. So I am just hoping that it is just a cultural thing but still hasn't been able to discover the style that suits him the most.

Is it weird that i buy womens magazines to feel bad about myself so i go to the gym?
I read them because i feel they inspire me to work harder to look better as i dont want to become complacent about that.Im kind of addicted to them and buy a handful of magazines a few times a month - also because i like keeping up with fashion and would hate to be totally clueless about that too.
I guess i feel that they keep me on my toes - sometimes if you are around 'average people' too long you can pick up bad habits such as not looking after yourself and dressing badly.

I don't want to spend a ton of money when I'm just starting out so I'm trying to keep it below $100. There's a few that I've found that I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions or opinions about them or any other skates I might be interested that are decent.The ones I'm looking at currently are:
