I saw some amazing high waisted shorts in my local TK maxx on saturday but I had so money so you could look in somewhere like there but its the luck of the draw for that kind of shop really.
Riverisland will most probably have shorts like that too but they may be more expensive.

If you want to wear the high waist denim shorts, you can try wearing either a black top if you like black. Or a solid color top. Or a striped top.Or a flowery top.
